What have we seen today?#

Day 1 have been an introduction to blockchains and smart contracts

  • We saw that blockchains were community network

    • All data is shared among the participants (nodes)

  • With smart contracts, we can build own own applications on top of blockchains

    • Smart contracts are actual code written by developers

    • Smart contracts creations and calls leverage the same transaction mechanism used to send money to someone

    • You can call smart contracts directly from your program
